There is a whole webpage dedicated named killed by google. It is a large organization so it's expensive to and slow to build stuff especially if they get it wrong like social media for example. The real question is why does a small business owner need a square reader with a card scanner that needs a headphone jack, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, Apple Pay and Paypal when Africa has been able to send money with a text for over a decade. Why can't the corner store take crypto and how do these credit card networks and exchanges make so much in fees.

Google could do just about everything but they are such a large organization which makes them slow for development costs a lot if they miss distracts them from there core business model and not worth there while. Real question is why doesn't square accept BTC how are credit card networks and exchanges charging so much in fees and how does Africa send money with a text message for over a decade and I have to have paypal, venmo, a square card scanner that I need a headphone jack for and cash app.

Because we're moving ever more to a tap-to-pay economy? And everyone has a mobile phone.

Square and Stripe make a lot of money on credit card processing! How much would it cost Google to offer credit card processing?

Do you mostly buy things with your credit card?
