Does it run Dark Souls? Time for crab.

Another example of everything evolving into crabs.

But.. can you play rust on it?

Is this the rust mascot? Should I be upvoting because of rust?

The site has two different titles. One in the HMTL <title> tag and another one on the page itself. At the time of this writing:

Title Tag: "This Playstation Mod Turns the PSOne Into a Crustacean"

Site Title: "The Carcinisation of PlayStation Is Complete: Say Hello to ‘Playstacean’"

Title here on HN: "Playstation Mod Turns the PSOne into a Crustacean"

So there was no title rewrite, except the omission of the "This" word at the start of the title, and a slightly different word capitalisation.

      > Rust people really are sectarian

literally every anti-rust hero 0.2 ms after they see a thread even just tangentially related to rust

I like the fact that it turns the console into a controller and an interesting one at that with both hands separated.

However the OG is just a good looking device, there is no need for this.

The post title butchers the article title which I think explains why this was necessary: "The Carcinisation of PlayStation Is Complete: Say Hello to ‘Playstacean’"

The original video's title was "I built a Playstacean".

No need for this? Your glib dismissal belies the passion and dedication involved in this genius masterwork. Nobody ever "needs" art, but surely it enriches our lives.

The controller with two halves will be unusable. There will be nothing to hold the half steady while you try to hit buttons or move the stick.

And in some ways it's even more "ergonomic", like a split keyboard.
