I would love to see DECT hacking on Yealink & Grandstream hardware to use these handsets with alternative basestations.
DECT is much more durable and long range than WiFi for real time communication, I only wish fault conditions (battery failure, cordless handset crashes) were more debuggable or logged an error when they occured.
