  Most of the same words are used in TV news writing, including many that still reference 'tape' and other things that are no longer part of how TV is made.

    To my surprise plenty of podcasters still use terms like “roll tape“. But list is missing newer terms such as package, slug, stinger, and throw.

      The term "slug" is in the list. Quoting from the glossary page:

      > slug

      > title of a script; used for reference purposes; wire-service stories are each given one
